Based in London, Sam Metland is a global product head with expertise in building products and product management teams, with a particular focus on how technology is transforming the financial services industry. He has deep knowledge of the alternative investment sector across the liquidity spectrum and brings a broad, international perspective shaped by his work in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He is responsible for leading the Group’s product strategy and shaping propositions as the business continues to expand globally.

Sam joined Aztec Group in September 2025 as Head of Product and Propositions, at a pivotal point in the Group’s growth journey. With more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Sam has held senior leadership roles across product, strategy and innovation. He spent over seven years at The Citco Group, where he served as Executive Vice President – Head of Private Equity Product, and most recently as Head of Solutions Engineering, leading product transformation across private markets. Prior to this, he held senior product and strategy roles at JP Morgan and Brown Brothers Harriman. His international experience has given him deep insight into building and scaling products in the alternatives sector across key global markets.
