James is Oakley Capital’s Group Finance Director. James joined Oakley in 2020 and is responsible for all aspects of finance across Oakley in the UK, Europe and Bermuda, including Fund Finance, Firm Finance, Portfolio Reporting and Valuations. James also leads the Transformation function, working closely with the finance and operations teams to deliver change across the organisation.

Prior to joining Oakley, James worked in the group external reporting function of a FTSE 100 insurer and asset manager. Previously, James was a senior manager at PwC in London, spending seven years auditing a range of private equity and global insurance clients.
